Understanding of common princple

Shorinjikempo has huge numbers of the techniques that are subdivided.

   We have to make effort to memorize the techniques. But really we can memorize easily the techniques. 
   If you can categorize "Kenkei", "Tori or Maki", the direction of "Kuzushi", you understand the principle.
   You must categorize the techniques by your way. It is a turning point you can memorize the techniques or not.

   The other day, we go to "Degeiko" and learned Jujinuki and Jujigote. 6 black belt holders and 4 brown belt holder were there. 

   After Jujinuki and Jujigote, Doincho asked, "What do you want to practice other techniques?". A brown belt holder said "Johakudori". Black belt holders couldn't help laughing. 

   Because black belt holders can understand a common principle of Johakunuki and Jujinuki, Johokudori and Jujigote. But the brown belt holder can't understand it. 

If Kyukenshi could understand the principle he(She) improve their skill.
